Institute for Business Continuity Training

The Institute for Business Continuity Training is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping organizations with all the support they need to develop and maintain effective Business Continuity/COOP programs. We offer regularly scheduled public courses plus private in-house training, BCP/COOP consulting services, online training, BCP/COOP Plan testing and exercising, and BCP/COOP Gap Analysis and audit. All of our staff are professionally qualified BCP practitioners with at least 20 years of experience in private industry and/or government service.

Business Continuity Planning is no longer just IT systems "disaster recovery" planning. How useful is it if your computer systems are restored in a remote location - but all of your inventory has been destroyed by fire, or your staff can't come to work?

For Business Continuity Planning to be successful, it is absolutely essential that your Business Units are actively involved in developing the BC Plan. Any plan NOT developed by a Business Unit will fail.

The Institute for Business Continuity Training is committed to training organizations and their operational Business Units to create, test, and maintain their integrated corporate Business Continuity Plan. We achieve this primarily through in-house, specialized  and customized seminars and workshops, for Senior Management through to front line supervisors.
